Kate Maeder, Account Executive

Kate Maeder has been working at Storefront Political Media since 2009. She has helped create comprehensive New Media campaign strategies with an expertise in search engine optimization, social media and other web 2.0 tools to drive coordinated, grassroots campaigns. Kate was the lead consultant on City Council races in the Bay Area in 2010. And as a lead producer at Storefront, Kate has produced 30-second TV commercials in four states, as well as dozens of online videos for candidates and policy-driven campaigns.

Kate has always had a passion for politics and media. She earned her Bachelors of Art degree in Film at the University of California, Berkeley and volunteered for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign in California, Nevada and Colorado. She is also an advisor to the Berkeley delegation for the YMCA Youth & Government Program. Kate was raised in Los Angeles but has happily made the Bay Area her home.
