Grant Martin, Senior Account Executive

Grant Martin has been helping to create winning campaigns for 16 years including seven years in Houston, Texas working with women, candidates of color and gay and lesbian candidates. Grant managed Annise Parker's historic 1997 campaign to become Houston's first openly gay or lesbian elected official and was the lead consultant on Parker’s path-breaking, successful 2009 race for Houston mayor.

Grant has been a volunteer trainer working nationally to provide grassroots fundraising and other skills to LGBT ballot measure campaigns and first-time LGBT and minority candidates. A former attorney and small businessman, Grant started his career in politics in 1995 as the policy and issues director for Roberta Achtenberg for San Francisco Mayor. He lives with his husband, the Rev. Paul Fromberg, in San Francisco.
