Eric Jaye, Proprietor

Eric Jaye is the founder and president of Storefront Political Media, a California-based consulting firm with local, state and national clientele. Storefront provides the highest quality media, communications and general consulting services to campaigns and candidates throughout the country

Jaye launched his career in politics with stints in advance, labor organizing and political journalism. He began work as an account executive and then Senior Vice President and Creative Director at Clinton Reilly Campaigns, at the time the nation’s largest political consulting firm. In 1990, he founded his own firm, Terris and Jaye, which grew into one of the nation’s largest political consulting firms. In 2001, he founded Storefront Political Media to provide political clients the full range of media and message services.

Jaye has specialized in grassroots organizing and cutting edge voter turnout. In 2003, he crafted Gavin Newsom’s mayoral victory with a pioneering effort to turnout 125,000 new voters and create the largest vote by mail effort in San Francisco history.

Jaye’s first extensive work in politics was as a $5.00 a week canvasser for the United Farm Workers of America. Throughout his career, he has continued to work for the rights of working people, including campaigns to expand pensions for San Francisco city employees and strengthen collective bargaining rights for police officers and firefighters.
