Eric Jaye, Proprietor
Eric Jaye is the founder and president of Storefront Political Media, a California-based consulting firm with local, state and national clientele.
Jaye began his career as a newspaper reporter, but quickly found that he belonged on the other side of the story. He launched his career in practical politics working as an account executive and then Senior Vice President and Creative Director at Clinton Reilly Campaigns, at the time the nation's largest political consulting firm. In 1990, he founded his own firm, Terris and Jaye, which also grew into one of the nation's largest political consulting firms. In 2001, he founded Storefront Political Media to provide political clients with the full range of integrated media and message services.
Jennifer Petrucione, Senior Account Executive
After eight years in political communications and campaigns, Jennifer Petrucione approaches her work with the philosophy that in politics everyone does windows and everyone does floors. From message and strategy, to creative development and production, to voter's mailboxes and TV screens, she believes that when it comes to winning campaigns — every detail counts.
Jennifer joined Storefront Political Media after serving three and a half years as San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom's Deputy Communications Director. As Deputy Communications Director, she also served as Mayor Newsom's lead speechwriter. Prior to joining the Newsom administration, Jennifer was Director of Scheduling for the Newsom for Mayor '03 campaign.
She cut her political teeth working at Terris Jaye & Barnes, one the country's leading direct mail firms. Starting out answering phones, Jennifer quickly moved up, working as an Account Executive on local, statewide and national candidate races, as well as local and statewide ballot measures.
Jennifer was born and raised in San Francisco and earned her BA at Middlebury College.
Grant Martin, Senior Account Executive
Grant Martin has been helping to create winning campaigns for twelve years including seven years working with women, candidates of color and gay and lesbian candidates in Houston, Texas. Grant managed Annise Parker's historic 1997 campaign to become Houston's first openly gay or lesbian elected official. Parker currently serves as the City Controller. Grant volunteers his time as a trainer working nationally to provide grassroots fundraising and other skills to LGBT ballot measure campaigns and first-time LGBT candidates. A former attorney and small businessman, Grant started his career in politics in 1995 as the policy and issues director for Roberta Achtenberg for San Francisco Mayor.
Theo Yedinsky, Senior Account Executive, Director of Business Development
Theo Yedinsky joined Storefront Political Media in 2006 after helping to launch and manage the New Politics Institute, a think tank focused on how technology, new media and demographics are changing modern political campaigns. In 2004, Theo served as the Political Director for the Kerry Campaign during the "first in the nation" New Hampshire Primary. He went on to serve the Kerry Campaign as the Deputy Program Director for the Democratic National Convention and as the Deputy Coordinated Campaign Director in Florida. Before his tour of duty on the Presidential campaign, Theo was the Caucus Director for the New Hampshire Democratic Senators and worked on congressional campaigns and for progressive political organizations in Washington, D.C. He also managed Simon Rosenberg's 2004 campaign to become Chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Prior to getting the political bug, Theo was a teacher and coach for three years. He also happens to be a big Philadelphia Flyers fan.
Alexandra Krasov, Account Executive
Alexandra Krasov joined Storefront Political Media in 2007 with a background in journalism and politics.
Alex researched policy dealing with Eastern Europe for the Democratic staff of the House International Relations Committee, fundraised at Fraioli & Associates in Washington D.C., and organized in the field for the Iowa Democratic Party during the 2004 presidential campaign. She started by coordinating media outreach at the Government Affairs Dept. at the Port of Oakland.
Alex served as the 2006-2007 Communications Director of the California College Democrats. She currently serves as the Public Relations Director on the board of the San Francisco Women's Political Committee.
Alex also freelanced in the San Francisco Bay Area, publishing articles in most major newspapers including the San Francisco Chronicle and the San Jose Mercury News. She worked as a writer for KPIX/CBS 5 Eyewitness News.
Lane Kasselman, Account Executive
Lane brings to the Storefront team a knowledge base from experiences in many areas of government. Most recently, he spent more than a year managing national press advance in numerous states for the Hillary Clinton for President campaign, during which time he worked with the foremost experts in visual communication messaging.
Prior to working on the national campaign trail, Lane served as the Deputy Policy Director for San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Most notably, he crafted policy in the areas of drug regulation, transportation, public safety and human rights.
Lane also has experience with State government as he worked for Governor Gray Davis and State Controller Kathleen Connell. In addition, Lane's private sector experience includes work with the international law firms of Clifford Chance US LLP and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
Lane earned his JD from Golden Gate University School of Law, and his BA from California State University Sacramento.
Katie Walovich, Associate Account Executive
Prior to joining the Storefront Political Media team, Katie worked at the Willie L. Brown, Jr. Institute on Politics and Public Service where she served as a main point person in the organization's event planning and fundraising programs. She also interned in Washington D.C. for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi where she learned the intricacies of political process firsthand.
In addition to her nonprofit management and Hill experience, Katie also possesses an extensive background in grassroots organizing. Most recently serving as a precinct captain in San Francisco for the Barack Obama for President campaign. Katie also helped coordinate field efforts for the Joe Courtney for Congress campaign in 2006 and the John Kerry for President campaign in 2004.
Katie graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2006 with degrees in political science and history.
Catherine Moore, Executive Assistant/Researcher
Early in her career, Catherine studied and danced with several professional ballet schools and companies including San Francisco Ballet and Oakland Ballet. Her involvement in unionization movements for regional ballet companies led her behind the scenes, and she has spent the past several years working in public relations, event coordination, fundraising and In-Kind donor cultivation for a variety of non-profit organizations. Catherine has volunteered on the campaigns of Mark Leno for Senate and Barack Obama for President, for which she acted as an event coordinator and communications assistant. A former intern at Mayor Gavin Newsom's Office of Communications, Catherine recently graduated from the fellowship program at the New Leaders Council, a progressive leadership program that focuses on integrative aspects of campaigning.
Catherine received her BA in Mass Communications with honors from UC Berkeley.
Christina Iskandar, Production Manager
Christina Iskandar joins Storefront Political Media after a year on the campaign trail for Hillary Clinton for President, where she served as a surrogate scheduler for the early primary states. After the first-in-the-nation primaries, Christina joined the Advance team and traveled across the country coordinating national traveling press corps movements as well as local press logistics for both President William Jefferson Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton.
Prior to the campaign, Christina worked in the public sector for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office and for the City of Los Angeles. In the private sector, she has also worked for Vivendi Universal and for Ethos Design, an environmental design and event production firm.
Christina received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, and a Bachelors degree in Political Science from University of California, Los Angeles. She is also a die-hard Bruin who spent a year as UCLA's mascot.
Zach Blume, Account Executive
Zach is a 2007-2008 graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, and most recently served as Campaign Manager for Tony Thurmond's bid for California's 14th State Assembly District seat. It was through this campaign that Zach was first introduced to Storefront, and later joined the team in July of 2008.
As part of the Coro Fellowship, Zach consulted for a variety of local public and private ventures, including work in city government, real estate, non-profit, and private enterprise, but Zach's main passion is politics.
Zach was initially hooked on political work when he learned the true meaning of an 80-hour workweek as a field organizer on a campaign for California's 45th Congressional District.
Zach is a 2006 graduate of the University of Oregon, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors in Political Science. Zach lived in Santiago, Chile for over a year where he studied South American politics and became fluent in Spanish.
Zach brings to Storefront a love for the science of political communication and a deep-rooted dedication to help send bold and progressive leaders to elected office.
